Angel & Faith Season 10 #7

Oct 2, 2014

A bit of a slow point in the middle but good enough to make me want to see where the story is going!

Angel & Faith Season 10 #8

The art work is beautiful though! Will Conrad & Michelle Madsen have a very dark & realistic style that still tells a story & conveys the action! I just hope it all comes together soon!

Angel & Faith Season 10 #9

Dec 7, 2014

I would really love to be all philosophical-ly like my fellow reviewers but that is really all that happens. "Lost & Found" has almost lost me after part 4. Thankfully part 5 will end the story. The plot just seems decompressed to the point of losing coherence. Will Conrad's art work is magnificent""..but not as fun as Rebekah Isaacs & Richard Corben on sister title Buffy.

Batgirl (2011) #35

Oct 12, 2014

Babs Tar's art work is amazing!!!! It feels very independent & not like the majority of DC right now. It reminds me of Mike Allred. I am sure that Mister Stewart's breakdowns are of great assistance with the story telling but after 1 ish I am a fan of this Babs too!!!!!!

Batgirl (2011) #37

Dec 14, 2014

I actually enjoyed this story & look forward to finding out whom Dagger's ‘patron' is……..who knows Babs wheelchair secret! My opinion was lessened though by some opinions I read on Twitter. The actions of Dagger…….a man pretending to be a woman to perform illegal & creepy actions…….were found quite offensive to some of the LGBTQ community. While I am not the best judge I feel for this opinion & I can see how this is a problem in a book known for positive portrayals all but abandoning the positive for a very negative.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10 #9

Dec 1, 2014

Christos Gage is one of my favorite writers & after several issues of struggling to capture my attention, this story line comes together as we see all 4 characters"""Buffy, Spike, Willow & Andrew"""portrayed as human beings with failings & faults & strengths & heart! & the ending where Andrew turns over a new leaf in the way only Andrew could is absolutely brilliant!!!!!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10 #13

Mar 24, 2015

This issue was a little bit slow as it just carried some plot threads through from issue #12"""which was all about character development"".but still fun!

Supergirl (2011) #35

Oct 18, 2014

Basically the whole story is that Jason wants to stop the distribution of alien weapons & decides that he should look up Supergirl for help...since he was interested in seeing how good a team they would make after they met once in 'Superman & Batman Annual #1"...the whole story feels like filler actually. Nothing really happens.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #1

Oct 13, 2014

This issue basically just retells the story of Sabrina but in such a new way…………….the final page made me jump! The story & the art work make this the 2nd best horror comic book you can read………..right after ‘Afterlife With Archie'!!!!!
