Outright Geekery - Aubrey Douglas Jan 7, 2016

I enjoyed this book. The writing is definitely going in a direction that I like. If you wanted to just hop on right here, you totally could. In my opinion you should read the first issue too, because it is worth it. This book is worth the read, and I am looking forward to following the Trine in later issues. Read Full Review

    ComicWow!TV - Bhavna Bakshi Jan 12, 2016

This series is off to a great start. Trine is a really interesting character that can definitely carry the series. We are getting to new locations, meeting new people, and discovering new things. Things are definitely looking up, so make sure to keep up with this series as it progresses towards the awesomeness I know is coming. Read Full Review

Fortress of Solitude - Byron Hendricks Jan 7, 2016

This story is very unpredictable, really lending to the name the series has been given. It is definitely an interesting read that will leave the reader wanting to know what happens next as it truly feels as though you are reading the script to a TV series. So expect to be entertained and then left wanting more. Mystery Girl has definitely piqued the interest of many and it is only a matter of time before this title becomes known to the masses. Doom Rocket - Brandy Dykhuizen Jan 8, 2016

There are a couple trifling questions hanging in the air (Norilsk access aside): 1) What happened to Dr. Ghislain, and why hasn't there been a single mention of the woman who convinced Trine to go to Siberia, and 2) Why does Tobin describe the locations of his characters so precisely ("200 blocks away") in some frames and so ambiguously ("Elsewhere") in others? It's possible not all mysteries will be solved, but I remain hooked at least until Mystery Girl'smammoth reveal. Read Full Review

Infinite Comix - Russell Troxel Jan 10, 2016

Mystery Girl is already an interesting and fun comic, but it's not perfect. If the team can avoid their minor missteps, Mystery Girl is going to be a great read. Read Full Review

    Nerdophiles - Kylee Sills Jan 10, 2016

It's the fast-paced travel from London to Russia that is a bit jarring in this issue " and without the scientist who originally wanted this trip anywhere in sight " with Trine making her way up to the remote location all by herself. But overall, I'm interested to see where this series goes next, if only for more gems like, "wiener-hazardous cold" that had me cracking up. Read Full Review
