Comic Bastards - James Anders II Mar 19, 2014

It is my sincere hope that Skyman will make some more appearances well after this mini is completed. Like Eric Reid, this title has the heart, the skill, and the creative mojo that can endure for the foreseeable future. Read Full Review

Unleash The Fanboy - Eric Bridges Mar 18, 2014

The art is something that is very fun and very vast. The different settings that are portrayed work well. I mean it really is vast and quick and the artist deals right with it is fantastic and cool. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Mar 19, 2014

Overall Skyman #3 ends giving us the hero we want to see in Eric. He now has a hero to match himself with that can show him what it really means to do what is right. Eric knows he's doing the right thing, but in a world like this you need someone else who can validate that. This was that case, and what we got from it is something you don't want to miss considering they both crossed the wrong people. The next issue you definitely want to pick up if not only to know what this threat they face is capable of. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Mar 19, 2014

Skyman once again hits a decent bit of material here, but it still has this kind of mild haphazard feel where it has the opportunity to sink into some meatier dialogue but ends up being superficial instead. Yeah, I know, lengthy dialogue just clutters up the page and slows things down and I should just go read a book instead. But with the issues facing the two main men here, there's an opportunity for a lot more to be said between them, especially in a mentor/student aspect since Eric is so properly deferential this this hero. It's unfortunate that it's missed, even in this kind of frenetic period where they're being hunted. There's still a lot going on and I'm enjoying the progress overall of Eric's story and while Midnight wasn't someone that I'd draw in just yet, it's fairly well handled and has the right kind of connection to not feel like it's forced. Skyman #3 has been out for a hot minute and like the rest of this series is totally awesome. The big battle with the cliffhanger ending is pretty good too. Read Full Review

Hulking Reviewer - Kareem Ali Mar 19, 2014

Skyman #3 is an enjoyable issue although I feel that the depth of the characters has been simplified compared to the setup in the first issue. However the story progresses well and it's interesting to see how Eric Reid is becoming free of the Skyman Program while also relating to Captain Midnight. And with the developments at the end of this issue at least it's guaranteed that next issue will have even more action but hopefully it takes advantage of the potential in the story of how this could permanently affect the Skyman Program. And if this is done then it could make up for some of the lack of character nuances and restore some of the potential of the new Skyman. Read Full Review

Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell Mar 19, 2014

Skyman soars to new heights this month. The crossover we've been waiting for has finally arrived, and it works really well. This is an enjoyable series but it could use another issue or two. The pacing is fast, so there isn't a lot of time to dwell on some of the softer moments that could have made for some great scenes. Read Full Review

Terrific issue! Each issue of is mini has topped the previous one, now I'm saddened that the series only has one issue left. The Captain Midnight team-up has been great so far and I've been impressed. Y how much character and plot have been compressed into these three issues.
