    X #16 didn't have the end to Better Off Dead you might expect, but it was a crazy ride nonetheless. This is Arcadia for you, power-hungry mobsters, a vigilante with questionable sanity, and everything in between that makes you question just what makes this city so special that the worst is always yet to storm by. The fight between X and Winter may have come to a close, but hopefully that isn't the last we see of Winter when there are things about this man that makes you very curious.     That set up some similar moments afterwards where X grows increasingly desperate with each punch he's beaten to. The setup to this encounter was also well done as the hype sounding the beating X was in store for carried a credibility of consequence. The ending leaves things in in the air, which enhanced the level of uncertainty we normally see in this series. Archon has been positioned as someone who only shows up when it's worth his time, so the stench of a sound defeat will haunt X for a while. Read Full Review

    Readers are made well aware of how human our masked man in this series is, especially in this issue. This Archon is more than a man and that is not a good thing at all for our would-be savior. Up until now,Xhas never faced anyone superhuman. Now we all know why. That is one fight our man simply should not attempt. Im not sure if that was the point of this arc or not. It is clear to me that he should stick to gangsters and psychopaths.Xisnt made for this sort of confrontation at all. Read Full Review
