Actress Nikki St Clair was the sweetest gal in the city until she was cast in a horror show musical as the Tap Dance Killer. Now, unable to shake the role, this 1920s-esque bizarre mobster assassin is out on the streets dealing damage with a theatrical flair that leaves 'em, quite literally, slain in the isles! This first issue also features the first appearance of a knockout new villain!

Critical Blast - RJ Carter Jul 30, 2018

TAP DANCE KILLER is like finding new old stock of 1970s Marvel Comics that never got released. They're original, unique, and know how to use the dynamic storytelling medium of comics. That's something we've waited 40 years to get. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Dan Traeger Jun 12, 2018

Tap dance killer is an absolute jewel of a comic. It's a great story with smashingly awesome art that's written into an active and vibrant universe that will hopefully just keep expanding. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes great comics and that's everyone" well, almost everyone, but that's a story for another time. Read Full Review

Bounding Into Comics - Nathan Braudrick Jul 9, 2018

Hero Tomorrow Comics' ongoing series, Tap Dance Killer, gets off to a promising start. We're introduced to some fun new heroes (or anti-heroes, rather) and are dropped into an over-the-top world filled with nefarious crime bosses, strange curses, supernatural powers, and a healthy dose of vaudeville style antics along the way. The tone is put squarely on fun and there's so much, from the art style to the fourth-wall breaking narration that hearken back to the classic days of comic book entertainment. Some pacing issues aside, Tap Dance Killer #1 is a fantastic start to what will hopefully be a long running series. Read Full Review

In the meantime this comic is brutal, honest and grabs us by the throat. A definite must read for fans of Prison films (and comics.) Read Full Review

On Comics Ground - James Portis Jul 31, 2018

Tap Dance Killer #1 and #2 are most definitely a solid read. A little speedy so put your seatbelt on. This star is certainly not seeing a curtain call anytime soon. I look forward to seeing what happens next for Miss St Claire as I will be reviewing any future issues and I highly recommend you request this series to be ordered at your local comic shop! Impulse Gamer - Jeremy Carr Oct 16, 2018

Now that is not to say this story is bad by any means and I feel like the story could really flesh out into something amazing. The art in this alone is also something that I loved. It felt like something straight out of the late 80s and just looked beautiful. There are a lot of things one could find to like about this series but for me these two issues could only bring up a 3 out of 5 stars for me. Its not bad but it could be better. Read Full Review
