Comic Book Bin - Andy Frisk Aug 16, 2014

While I'm still not happy with the fact that it appears that what should be the flagship ongoing titles of the Valiant Universe are now reduced to a string of mini-series (well, at least we are getting a new Eternal Warrior mini-series out of the deal), Harbinger Omegas #1 is one of the best first issues of ANYTHING that Valiant Comics has released...well...ever. Comic Vine - Gregg Katzman Aug 6, 2014

Love HARBINGER? Then this should be a more than obvious purchase for you! Dysart continues to fill the script with great character moments, big displays of sheer spectacle, and crafts an overall narrative that's loaded with tension and intrigue. This is going to be a critical limited series for this franchise and this first chapter does a more than commendable job hitting us with all of the buildup and character depth. As expected, this is must read for HARBINGER fans. Read Full Review

Harbinger: Omegas #1 is an incredible start to the series that immediately sets the tone for the series and pulls you in completely once Harada starts talking, and raises the stakes to nuclear level. The beuatiful writing by Joshua Dysart and electrifying artwork by Rafa Sandoval makes this issue a very engrossing real as the characters are compelling, the action is intense, and the story progresses extremely well. This issue served as my introduction to Toyo Harada and I was thoroughly impressed, although I wonder why the armed forces were so inadequately prepared for one who could clearly treat their weapons as toys or if that was truly the best they could do. Either way the second issue can't get here soon enough so I can sit back and enjoy it. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Aug 6, 2014

Harbinger: Omegas #1 is the beginning of brand new mini-series detailing the lives of these two omega-powered rivals andsetting the stage for what happens next. The revelation that psiots walk among us is going to have a very big impact on the world and this issue shows us just how the world reacts in the face of a threat they cannot comprehend. The hunters are one thing, but a tyrant like Harada is another thing completely. Read Full Review

Since some of this issue was a recap of sorts for consistent readers of Harbinger it's hard to say that it's perfect, but it's pretty damn close. The next issue is the one to look out for, but if you haven't been reading Harbinger at all then this is a great place to start. You'll finally see what the rest of us already know" this is hands down Valiant's best series/corner of the Valiant Universe. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Jim Johnson Aug 11, 2014

"Harbinger: Omegas" #1 is a lower-key issue and a transitory point between the past and future lives of the Renegades and their powerful foe, but is nonetheless an important part of the story's progression. Read Full Review

Forces Of Geek - Atlee Greene Aug 11, 2014

The illustrations are amazing and makes you feel a part of the spectacle unfolding with each turn of the page. My favorite panel of the week shows Harada using his powers to deconstruct missiles that were shot at him right before they explode. I have a feeling that the events in this three part series are going to be critical to the comings and goings of the Valiant universe. Read Full Review
